INGREDIENTS :
2 cups wheat flour (280 g)
2 cups sugar (400 g)
1 cup chocolate / cocoa powder
1 tablespoon Royal yeast or baking powder
3 eggs
4 tablespoons butter
1 cup warm milk
DIRECTIONS :
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C and grease and flour a butter and flour mould. This is the first thing to do, because chocolate cake in a mixer is very quick and easy to make, and it's best to have the oven warmed up and the molding ready.
2. We take the mixer and prick out the eggs, melted butter, sugar, milk to dissolve everything a little and then add the cocoa powder. Let's liquidize a little until the mixture is smooth enough to continue the preparation.
3. Then we add the flour and beat until it's completely incorporated. From time to time, we clean the edges so that the flour stuck to them comes off and mixes well with all the chocolate cake batter in the mixer.
4. At this point, and not before, we add the yeast and liquefy the mixture a little more, just to get it evenly distributed.
5. Pour the chocolate cake batter into the mould we've prepared and bake at around 180°C for around 50 minutes.
6. Once we've got the chocolate cake, we'll let it rest with the oven open for another 10 minutes or so, then take it out, unmould it and leave it to cool on a wire rack.
7. While the cake is cooling, you can prepare the filling at your leisure.
